The SVBCC (Shenandoah Valley British Car Club). is dedicated to the enjoyment and preservation of British automobiles.

HISTORY OF THE CLUB

This organization was founded in the summer of 1981 as a local chapter of the Triumph Register of America--the Shenandoah Valley Triumph Association. This group decided to open up the membership to all British Marques and it became the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club. In 1982 the club sponsored the First Annual Fall British Car Festival. We are now the second oldest car show on the East Coast with more than 20 years of this event with a participation of over 200 cars! Our membership is comprised of approximately 100 family memberships.

CLUB ACTIVITIES

Each year our organization sponsors the Annual Fall British Car Festival in conjunction with the Waynesboro Fall Foliage Festival. Some members participate in other car shows both locally and nationally. We enjoy touring in caravans, participating in parades, rallies, auto crosses and other activities while driving our automobiles and sharing the experiences.

What can we do for you? You are encouraged to participate in all our organizational activities! We offer technical information, tips and the moral support necessary in maintaining your British car. You may even find some physical help as most members really don't mind getting dirty while working on British cars! We can help you locate those hard to find parts or an entire car if you don't currently have one. Our monthly newsletter, On Your Marque, will keep you informed of what is happening within our organization as well as activities you might enjoy which are sponsored by other groups.

We meet monthly and invite you to visit with us at our next activity! We try to keep the business portion to a minimum so we can spend most of the time enjoying our British cars and each others' company! Some of the activities over the last few years have consisted of "Alice in Wonderland" and "Wizard of Oz" gimmick rallies, a funkhana, a fast food progressive dinner, Lime Kiln Theatre, and the Virginia Wine Festival. We like to find fun, interesting events to which we can drive. For the time and location of our next meeting, or for more information about the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club, Ltd., email our webmaster at WebMaster@svbcc.net.
